93 klx 650 suggestions?
1993 Kawasaki KXL 650cc bored to 710cc ENDURO green, white in color purple kevlar seat. Has 50/50 tires on it for street 6 spd have new clutch cable still new in box runs perfect gets up and goes.Have extra chain headlight shroud brake lights kill switches and others. Gets 65+MPGS Been running LUCAS in oil and GAS. Good strong running bike keeps up with a NINJA 663cc.. HAVE CLEAN TITLE IN HAND. Kinda hard to start since its winter and its kick start only.......he wants 600 for it, it shows just over 9K any opinons on this bike? dont know anything about them ,tahnks
Is it street legal ?
Do you know if its the 'C' or 'R' model one is street legal from the factory the 'R' is not.
In general the KLX650 is a very good bike with more power than most other DS motorcycles.
1993 is the first year it was made, & they had some overheating issues on the "R" models because they did not come factory with a radiator fans.
It is known to having superior suspension compared to that of a KLR650 or DR650.
While there isnt much aftermarket support for it though. Due to it only being made in the USA for 3 years.
Whatever you do Im sure you would be happy with it if you decide to purchase it, I owned the 'R' model & the only complaint I had was it would overheat if you set still too long, but that is because it did not have a rad fan, other than that great bike, good power & excellent handling
